The Old Barn

Reviews

Superb location just behind the dunes, making it ideal if you like the beach and walking. The house was also ideal for two families sharing and for us, it was an ideal, quiet spot for Feb half-term. Don't know what impact the extra holiday homes on site will make.

This is a great house, especially for two families sharing. Loads of room and plenty of bathrooms! The location is amazing , just a couple of minutes walk to the beach.

Ideal setting for families with children, the lovely beach is scarcely more than three minutes stroll.

Link House Farm, Low Newton, is a superb family holiday destination. Literally yards away from a secluded, stunning Northumbrian beach and a short, idyllic coastal walk to the village of Low Newton our family enjoyed a thoroughly memorable week here. Low Newton itself is a picture postcard location with its village green and character-packed pub, The Ship Inn, fronting onto a beautiful beach which stretches all the way to Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance. We paticularly enjoyed eating lobster at The Ship Inn, which had been caught in Newton bay earler that day, and sampling the real ales which are brewed in its own microbrewey literally next door. We can't recommend enough both the location and the quality of accommodation we found in Northumberland. Top marks.

It's so close to the beach and in walking distance of a fabulous pub.
